- Of course! In addition to these cases, you must report in the following cases.
1) If your name, gender, date of birth, or nationality has changed
2) If the passport number, date of issue, or expiration date has changed
3) If the school has changed (including if the name of the school you attended has changed)
- You must report within 15 days from the date of change. You can report to the immigration office with jurisdiction or a branch office of the immigration office, or apply online.
- Documents to be submitted are as follows.
1) Application form, passport, alien registration card
2) When personal information such as name or passport information changes, documents proving the change are required.
3) When changing schools, you will need a certificate of attendance from the new school, a certificate of expulsion from the previous school, and documents proving the necessity or inevitability of the change of schools.
4) When changing the school name, documents that can verify the change of school name, such as a unique number certificate, are required.
- If you are enrolled in school, you can go and come back as much as you want if you re-enter Korea within 1 year! However, if you leave the country for more than 1 year and re-enter within 2 years, you must obtain a multiple re-entry permit and pay a re-entry permit fee! (Please inquire about leave of absence as each school is different.)
