□ E-7 Visa Issuance Requirements
In order to obtain a visa for the medical coordinator position, you must receive an employment recommendation letter from the Minister of Health and Welfare along with a personal reference letter from the relevant employer or hospital. It may take 3-4 weeks or more to issue the employment recommendation letter and personal reference letter, so please prepare in advance.
□ Documents required for E-7 visa issuance
Hospitals or employers hiring foreigners as medical coordinators require a business registration certificate, a recommendation application letter, a letter of employment reason, an employment contract, a company introduction, etc.
Meanwhile, foreigners planning to work as medical coordinators will need a copy of their passport, alien registration card, graduation certificate, resume, certificate or professional course completion documents, career certificate, TOPIK score certificate, etc. Documents issued overseas require Apostille certification or consular verification, so it is necessary to prepare them in advance.
□ Medical Coordinator Visa Duration of Stay
The maximum stay period for a medical coordinator visa is 2 years, and is issued as a single-entry visa. If the employment contract is extended, the stay period can also be extended, so hospitals and employers who plan to employ foreigners as medical coordinators should take note of these points and utilize them.
