1. Basic regulations for D-10 visa training activities

This regulation applies to D-10-1 (General Job Search) visa holders.
It applies when starting internship (training) activities or changing training institutions within the range of occupations from professor (E-1) to specific activity (E-7).

  • Even during the 90-day grace period for alien registration
    → If a reason for training occurs, reporting is required regardless of registration.

  • Internship (training) is not possible in the following cases:

    • Technology Startup (D-10-2) visa holder

    • Persons who changed to D-10-1 after E-1~E-7 employment experience

 

2. Standard for reporting start of training and change of training institution (within 15 days)

If you start training or change training institutions,
Must be reported within 15 days from the date of occurrenceYou have to do it.

Based on training period

  • Up to 1 year within D-10 stay period

  • In the same company, a maximum of 6 months is allowed.

Occupations available for training

  • E-1 ~ E-7 applicable occupations

  • Simple part-time jobs (restaurants, cafes, etc.) are not permitted.

  • Excluded fields

    • E-6-2 (Entertainment/entertainment industry)

    • E-7-4 (skilled workforce)

4. Main reasons for refusal (rejection) of training report

Your training report may be rejected if any of the following reasons apply.

① Requirements not met

  • Lack of training qualification requirements for foreigners

  • If the company fails to meet the requirements for hiring foreigners

② Companies that abuse interns

  • Within the last 6 months

    • Internship → Number of foreigners who were not hired
      Exceeding 10% of full-time workers

    • Companies with less than 10 employees20% standard

  • However, those who are actually hired after completing the internship are not subject to this restriction.

③ Exceeding the training period for the same company
