1. Change of residence status

 

Q1) Who is eligible for the regional specialized visa (F-3-1R) accompanying family members?

※ If special recognition of actual residence is granted when applying together with the main resident, the same applies to accompanying family members.

※ If the spouse applies for accompanying family member status while the main resident already holds regional talent (F-2-R) status, the main resident's qualifications will not be reviewed separately.

 

  1. (Residence) Securing an independent residential facility for families to live in, rather than a dormitory
  2. (Income) When inviting 4 or more accompanying family members, the household income must be at least 100% of the previous year's GNI index.

(However, the main resident's income must be at least 70% of GNI, and the remaining 30% can be met with the spouse's income)

※ If the previous year’s GNI has not been announced as of the application date, the standard for the year before last will be applied.

  1. (Spouse) Valid marriage with the primary resident (F-2-R)- Complete stage 2 or higher of the social integration program within 2 years after changing qualifications※ In case of non-fulfillmentExtension of stay limited to a maximum of 6 months

③ Documents proving family relationship with the main resident (F-2-R) (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.)

④ Documents proving actual residence in the same area as the main resident

⑤ Documents proving completion of the 2nd stage or higher of the social integration program (can be submitted at a later date when extending the visa)

⑥ Children: If the child is of school age (elementary school), proof of attendance

⑦ Other documents that the head of the competent immigration office or foreigner office deems necessary for examination
